Crafted with the technique of Copper Enamelling, this black coloured tea light holder comes with the dimension of 4.5 Inches. A great decor product and an ambience creator. Inspired from Indian religious scriptures, the design represents the rising sun whose light guides us throughout the day, as well as the moon that illuminates the night.

This collection of copper enamel tealights is inspired by the festival of Makar Sakranti.

Makar in Sanskrit is Capricorn, and Sankranti means the change of the Sun’s abode from one zodiac sign to another. Makar Sankranti marks the end of Dakshinayana, or the Sun’s southward journey, and the start of Uttarayana - the beginning of the northward journey.

It also marks the beginning of the harvest festival in India and is celebrated by flying kites, taking a dip in the holy waters of Ganga or Yamuna, and wearing the color black to signify the end of the dark period and welcoming an auspicious and new time.

"Deeva" means light, and this Deeva wall plate symbolizes a new day and a new start. The word "Deeva" translates to light, and the design represents the rising sun whose light guides us throughout the day, as well as the moon that illuminates the night.
